Elanco (formerly Bayer) K9 Advantix II Small Dog Once-A-Month Topical Flea and Tick Treatment - Under 4.5 kg is a veterinarian recommended treatment intended to kill parasites including fleas, ticks and mosquitos through contact (no biting required). This easy to apply topical treatment can be used monthly for year-round protection. Best suited to small dogs weighing under 4.5 kg, this treatment kills fleas, larva and eggs on contact. It’s important to treat your dog for fleas and parasites because flea bites can cause allergy dermatitis. In addition, they can cause skin infections and other potentially serious health issues. Additionally, a single flea can lay up to 50 eggs per day leading to infestations in your home. Also, a single flea can lay up to 50 eggs per day leading to infestations in your home.
